As a lot of you have seen in the news, the Coronavirus has caused disruptions for lots of staff and workers across the country from pubs, clubs, restaurants, taxis, and also airline. With nothing concrete put into place by the government other then advising people not to attend these places, this has left everyone across the country in the awkward position of not quite knowing what to do, as places can’t just close with no government plan due to the ongoing life duties of paying bills and feeding families.
We are currently opening as normal, with slightly reduced hours which have changed from 8am-5pm to 9am-4pm. This is just a temporary measure while we work through the outbreak until the government instruct otherwise. We would like to advise our customers we are following all health and safety guidelines to the letter, as we have always done. We have installed hand sanitiser stations at the entrance, exit, outside the toilets, and will do what we can to look after those of you who wish to join us in the meantime. We do advise anyone with the symptoms to self isolate rather than attend places like ours, to act in the prevention of spreading the virus.
In line with this, we will be starting our delivery service from tomorrow at 12pm, to help with anyone who has stayed at home during this time. Our take out menu can be ordered up until 8pm, and will cover the North Shields, Cullercoats, and Whitley Bay areas. Orders for this service will be taken down the phone, with card payments taken down the phone also at the time of ordering. Please have your bank card and address ready for time of ordering.
To help with the prevention of spreading the virus, we will also be cancelling our upcoming 70’s party night which was scheduled to take place Saturday 28th March, and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused to yourselves who have booked. Tickets will be refunded in the coming days.
